What are we trying to sustain?
A world where future generations can flourish, enjoying cards and games
Despite being a small enterprise - sustainability is a core value for Card Juice. The decisions we make today will resonate for years. We're proud to make a firm commitment to preserve our community and make games for good.

Our 3 Pillar Sustainability Pledge:
Community, Environment, and Manufacturing
Community
-
No use of AI, ever, to create art for Card Juice promotional cards or products. We support and partner with talented human artists and game designers.

-
We actively advise clients to avoid AI solutions and recommend trusted human artists.

-
While we talk about toys and cards online, we're painfully aware that many kids and families can't afford toys. That's why for every social media post we make, we donate $12 to The Toy Foundation, enough to provide one toy to a child in need.

Environment

-
Unchecked climate change is an existential threat that will pose the most significant disruption to our way of life, both in the present, and in the future.

-
Being a startup - we are directing our financial resources to the most urgent climate change mitigation programs. We donate $100 per month minimum and 3% of all gross profits, to REDD+ Programs in developing countries to stop deforestation and sequester carbon.

-
When producing Card Juice materials we will always utilize FSC-certified paper and fiber materials from well-managed forests. We will always advise clients to do the same.

Manufacturing

-
When manufacturing our products and products on behalf of clients - we will always advocate for solutions that lead to greater recyclability for our packaging and cards. Such as cold foil applications - which have been proven to be more repulpable and more likely to be recycled.

-
We partner and recommend for our clients to partner with vendors that have robust sustainability programs implemented and report Scope 3 emissions.

-
We take a practical, data-based approach to manufacturing decisions that focus on using less material without sacrificing quality.

Keep us honest & transparent:
We will publish a quarterly sustainability report on our donations and goal progress. In the interim - please reach out to us if you would like to audit our sustainability claims.
